Drone FAQ
Anything not covered here, ask on the call.
How much does aerial work cost?
Every project is quoted flat, not hourly. Cost depends on how many locations, whether you need stills, video, or both, and how much editing is involved. We quote after a short call, usually within two business days.
Are you licensed to fly commercially?
Yes — FAA Part 107 certified and insured. Commercial drone work legally requires it, and we handle any airspace authorization your location needs before the flight date.
Can you fly at my location?
Most of the time, yes. Airspace near airports and some restricted zones need advance authorization, which we request on your behalf. Send us the address and we’ll confirm before anything is booked.
Do you fly over active job sites and facilities?
Yes — that’s most of what we do. We follow site safety requirements, coordinate with your crew before launch, and keep the aircraft clear of people and moving equipment.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We reschedule. Wind, rain, and heavy overcast all affect what a drone can safely fly in and how the footage looks, so we watch the forecast and move the date rather than deliver something weak.
Do you travel?
Yes. Travel within about two hours of Minerva is generally included. We travel statewide and nationally for larger projects.
